Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that three-year male student-athlete, Colby Bear, has committed to the  Battleford North Stars of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (Junior A) for the 2021-22 season.

Colby played in 141 games in a Buffaloes uniform, finishing his career with 68  goals and 139 points. He also took 234 penalty minutes over the course of 3 seasons in Pilot Mound (2018-2021). Colby was named a NAHL Prep Allstar in the 2019 season.

A message from PMHA Head Coach, Rick McConnell:

“Congratulations Colby on signing with the Battleford North Stars of the SJHL.  Colby has played three seasons for the Pilot Mound Buffaloes.  Colby’s dedication and love for the games helped him develop into a strong two way player.  He has a tremendous shot and a nose for the net which allowed him to score many big goals. He also plays in all situations and helped lead our team to our first CSSHL Championship last season.

I am confident that Colby is ready to take the next step and is ready to put the puck in the net for the North Stars. Congratulations Colby, and best of luck with your junior career.”

Colby will join former PMHA Male Buffalo, Tynan Ewart, in a Stars uniform next season!
